Our Mission

Line

The Post Secondary program at Mercer County Technical School provides a great range of opportunities for students to gain industry-specific skills and certifications. With programs in high-demand fields like Cosmetology, Welding, Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical, students have the chance to develop practical, hands-on expertise. The option for apprenticeships is a strong feature, as it allows students to combine classroom learning with real-world experience. By registering with an employer, students can earn while they learn, which can be especially beneficial in trade-focused careers. Additionally, offering courses for students not on an apprenticeship pathway expands accessibility to those who may already have work experience or prefer a more traditional educational setting before entering the workforce
