Do you offer online courses?
We offer online courses through Ed2Go
- Online options are available to meet the needs of students. However, there are no asynchronous or synchronous courses available. Teachers have the ability to offer opportunities for students within the brick and mortar model of instruction to help meet the needs of students.
- We also offer OSHA 30 which is a requirement for all apprenticeship students seeking certification.

Are transcripts required for registration purposes?
- Transcripts are required if you are registering for Barbering of Cosmetology.
- Transcripts are required if you have already completed courses in the trade for which you are registering or if you want to be waived from a course due to completion at another institution. You will need to submit the transcript to ptsa@mcts.edu
- If you are transferring from another vocational school or shared-time vocational high school, you will need to submit a transcript by email to ptsa@mcts.edu

Your employer must apply with the USDOL for sponsorship to sponsor you and register you as an apprentice.Once you are registered as an apprentice your 8,000 work hours will start. You will need to come to school with us in order to get you education hours. You must have 8,000 work hours and 576 instructional hours.
